The Moonlit Swayambhunath

Art is an expression. And what better way to express beauty than painting? With the combination of soft pastels and pencil colour, I decided to portray the beauty of Swayambhunath. The hand-drawn, coloured picture depicts a moonlit view of the historical monument. While many of us have been enchanted by the real-life pictures of Swayambhunath that often turn up unannounced in our timeline, I went on to try and fuel that enchantment by creating that very portrait from scratch using colours. Here is a time-lapse capturing how I brought the painting to life. Enjoy!
