Full Moon Night Trek.

The cold at this time of the year is relentless. It’s seeping into our bodies, thirsting for warmth while the snow from the north falls continually.
Before we know our knees are deep in snow and the night is wearing on. The guide tells us, our destination is not far, but it’s hard to see reason in his voice when the exhaustion lies heavy in our bones.
How far does the destination lie? Haven’t we asked this questions numerous times?

Thank God we have the moonlight to guide us home. What isn’t magical about it? The way it bathes the white snow in an even silvery glow? As we revel in its glory, the path seems shorter now, even close. It’s nearly there.
As we search for meaning beneath the magnanimity of the mountains, we wait for yet another day.

What do you think?
