The Expendables 2 is an American action film starring stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, JetLi, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, Liam Hemsworth, Jean- Claude Van Damme, Bruce Wills and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
One of the scenes was shot in Sindupalchowk, Nepal.
2 Doctor Strange
Doctor Strange was shot in many places of Nepal such as Patan Durbar Square, Swayambunath, Thamel, Pashupatinath, and many other places of Kathmandu. Doctor Strange was partially flimed in Nepal and has presented Nepal's beauty and locations fantastically!
3 Khuda Gawah
Khuda Gawah is a 1992 Indian epic drama film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Sridevi and many more actors were shot in Omsom hotel, Mustang in 1992 Amitabh Bachchan, and Sridevi won Filmfare nominations for their work.
Sridevi was one of the first female superstars of Bollywood and will always remain the most beautiful and admired women we know!
4 Enradhukulla(10 ka Dum)
10 Endrathukulla is an Indian Tamil action Flim starring Vikram and Samantha Ruth as lead actors and also has Sunil Thapa. Some parts of this movie were shot in Sikali and Bhaktapur.
Baby is an Indian action thriller starring Akshay Kumar, Taapse, Danny Denzongpa, Anupam Kher and many other actors. Baby movie has a scene of Hotel Hyatt, temples of Bhaktapur and Thamel too.
Mahaan is a Hindi action drama having Amitabh Bachchan in triple roles, Waheenda Rehman, Parveen Babi, Zeenat Aman and many more legendary actors. The movie was shot in Pashupatinath. It was filmed in all three cities of Kathmandu valley.
The famous song "Pyar Mein Dil Pe Maar De Goli" was shot in Bhaktapur, Nepal.
Baraka is a 1992 documentary without narrative and voice-over which presents footage of people, places and things from around the world and tries to show how much of the world is interconnected by both the tragedy and the brightness of life. It was shot in 24 countries including Nepal,
It was shot in the Himalayas and various World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu such as Bhaktapur, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Pashupatinath etc.
8 The Fall
The Fall is an adventure fantasy film, released in 2006, which is about an injured stuntman who tells a little girl a tale of five mythical heroes. The movie was made over a period of 4 years and shot in 20 countries including Nepal too!
9 The Golden Child
The Golden Child was released on December 12, 1986, which is a fantasy comedy film having Eddie Murphy as lead playing the character of Chandler Jarrell, who is informed that he is "The Chosen One" and is assigned to save "The Golden Child", the saviour of all humankind.
The movie was shot in Tribhuvan International Airport(TIA), Kathmandu and Pokhara.
10 The Wildest Dream
The Wildest Dream about the British climber George Mallory who had an obsession of becoming the first person to reach Mount Everest got lost in The Mount Everest in the year 1924 with his friend Andrew Irvine.
The film won the award for Best Adventure Film and contains very breathtaking shots of The Mount Everest!!
